This rhum arrangé des 7 mers Bigallet is made with AOC agricultural rum from Martinique, organic fair-trade cane sugar from Brazil, and an infusion of organic lemon zest, lime and ginger essences.
Nico's tasting notes
The nose opens with a sweet lemon syrup. This lemon is quickly sprinkled with ground ginger, and the ingredients enter into a natural harmony. The lemon is sweet but balanced, its acidity sufficiently tempered to let the ginger's exoticism shine through.
The palate is very sweet and round, with no acidity in the lemon juice. There's still a hint of bitterness, which goes well with the ginger, reminiscent of the strips that accompany sushi.
