This Bigallet rhum arrangé des 7 mers is made with AOC agricultural rum from Martinique, organic fair-trade Brazilian cane sugar and Asian lychee juice.
Nico's tasting notes
On the nose, there's something very floral about this rhum arrangé. The lychee is there, of course, right in the middle, shouting out its exoticism, but there's also a hint of violets with camphor accents. The nose is dark, fresh and clean, reminiscent of certain rice spirits.
The palate is sweet and well-rounded, right on lychee in syrup, light and almost creamy. A surprising aroma of coconut water adds to the exoticism, followed by the floral side, still with an impression of rice alcohol.
