Version Française's Blavier 2003 whisky is named after a very rare still.
The Blavier still consists of three copper vessels and two rectification columns. The second column, containing ceramic rings, separates the alcohol from its heavier compounds. This alembic is the work of a renowned boilermaker of the early 20th century.
This rare 20-year-old single cask was aged in Jura yellow wine casks. Bottled in 2023, 219 bottles were produced.
