Blavier 2006 is a single malt that comes from one of the last Blavier stills still in operation today. Very popular at the beginning of the 20th century, these stills that produced a distillate of rare finesse have now almost disappeared from the French countryside.
This unpeated French whisky was distilled in 2006 in a small Jura roastery. The aging of this single malt was done entirely in a Jura macvin cask.
Bottled after 18 years of aging, the AO24 barrel produced 181 bottles.
