This whisky from the BM Signature collection is produced in the Jura by Bruno Mangin.
The particularity of this single malt whisky lies in the fact that it has aged in casks which previously contained a Jura Vin de Paille.
Vin de Paille du Jura is a sweet wine. It is produced from the finest bunches of grapes that undergo raisining. This is a stage where the bunches are dried for at least 6 weeks before being processed. Traditionally, this process was carried out on straw racks.
This whisky from the 2006 vintage was therefore aged for 13 years in a single cask before being bottled.
