Breiz'île Banane Ananas 23°: Description and customer reviews

This Breiz'île Banane Ananas is made in Finistère by Bretons who have spent years living in the West Indies.

The ingredients are 100% fresh fruit and agricultural rum:

  • bananas picked when ripe,
  • pineapples cut and inserted into the bottle by hand,
  • agricultural rum from Guadeloupe,
  • and a squeeze of lemon!

Nico's tasting notes

The nose is rather light and balanced. Pineapple and rum send their first scents out of the glass, along with cane sugar and sweet spices. These spices begin to evoke banana in a sweet, pastry-like register.

The palate is round, with a fruity and very exotic rum, but also very sweet. The spices perfume the pineapple and take us to the world of pastries. As with the nose, this is the moment the banana chooses to settle peacefully on the tongue.

"A gourmet arrangé that leans towards pastry and cakes generously drizzled with rum..."
