Bushmills 12 Year Old is a single malt from the historic Bushmills distillery, founded in 1608 in the heart of Ireland .
This single malt is made from 100% malted barley and distilled three times in copper pot stills , according to Irish tradition.
It is then aged for at least 11 years in sherry and bourbon casks, before undergoing a finishing period of 6 to 9 months in ex-Marsala casks.
