Cachaça Soledade Pura is a brandy made from pure sugarcane juice. It is unaged, meaning that it simply rests for a few weeks in stainless steel casks.
Only the heart of the distillation process is kept for this cachaça. This makes it ideal for cocktails and, of course, caiprinha.
Traditionally, straw was used to protect bottles during transport by donkey. This prevented them from breaking as they collided.
Nico's tasting notes
The first nose is dominated by a candy cane, sweet as a love apple. We're reminded of berlingots and candy canes, and a hint of fruit leads us to harlequin candies.
With aeration, this very light profile remains, and the cane is more candied than ever. A few spices (tonka, cinnamon) coexist with floral, slightly bitter notes.
The palate is soft, and initially lets the cane express itself. It is slightly peppery, fine, green and vegetal. The spices and cooked sugar arrive in the middle of the palate, covering all the vegetal aspect of this cachaça.
The finish is peppery, with hints of fermentation and resinous aromatics arriving after the battle.
"A very light cachaça, which will adapt to all types of cocktails..."
