This Chamarel XO Oloroso Finish rum is made by fermenting and then distilling pure sugarcane juice. It is an 8-year-old agricultural rum from the Chamarel rum factory in Mauritius.
Following an initial 6-year maturation in oak barrels, the rum is transferred to 500-liter barrels for a further 2 years of maturation.
These barrels have previously contained a Sherry Oloroso.
