Every year since 2018, the Chichibu distillery has created an exclusive vintage dedicated to Paris , a symbol of creativity and refinement. Founded by Ichiro Akuto in 2008, the Chichibu Paris Edition 2025 is a new ode to the encounter between Tokyo and the City of Lights.
This edition explores the connections between the two metropolises' iconic neighborhoods—Montmartre and Asakusa, Le Marais and Harajuku, Les Champs-Élysées and Ginza—through six pop and colorful labels, inspired by postage stamps celebrating travel and cultural exchange.
The blend illustrates all of Chichibu's mastery: a subtle balance between new French oak barrels , Spanish sherry barrels , Bordeaux red wine barrels , American hogshead , and bourbon barrels , some of which have contained an intensely peaty whisky .
Aged between 5 and 14 years , the whiskies that make up this edition deliver a rich and balanced aromatic palette.
