This is an AOC Pays d'Auge calvados, matured in 8 barrels that have nothing to do with Normandy.
Indeed, Maison Drouin has already experimented with finishing in Hampden, Long Pond, Caroni and JM rum barrels. So it was only natural that they turned to a distillery in Barbados for Foursquare casks.
This 19-year-old calvados has therefore benefited from a 17-month finish in 8 Foursquare rum barrels.
Bottled in June 2023, 2,396 copies of this calvados were produced.
