Clément Colonne Créole is distilled in a small, traditional copper column known as a colonne créole. This gives the rum a rich, aromatic bouquet.
Laurent's tasting notes
Its color is crystalline.
On the nose, this is an unusual agricultural rum. A touch of gingerbread, peppery aromas, a dry impression and vegetal, earthy notes. Unusual associations, to say the least.
On the palate, the cane finally makes a noticeable appearance. Much more classic than the nose. It remains relatively dry. The whole is pleasantly simple.
The finish is still cane juice, but the pepper detected on the nose returns. After a few moments, the earthy notes return.
