This aged edition is a blend of the finest Canne Bleue (aged from 3 to 11 years) aged in American and ex-Bourbon oak barrels.

Nico's tasting notes
On the nose, we discover a full-bodied woodiness, tender but dense, so rather greedy all in all. In the hollow of the oak lies a ripe cane juice with a humid, tropical character. Wood and cane quickly unite and enrich each other. The cane begins to take on the air of apricot jam, subtly spiced up by the wood's tannins.
Aeration reveals an older, more mature character, with darker, spicier oak. Pepper takes on the color of toasted oak, or is it the other way around, and other spices follow suit. The elegance of the wood, constantly evolving in the glass, is reminiscent of a cigar box.
On the palate, the rum is very fluid and melt-in-the-mouth, despite a slight woody bite in the very first moments. Apricot jam mingles with red fruit juices, becoming more liquid and taking on a hint of acidity. Once the acidity has evaporated, a beautiful woodiness takes its place, with a patina of cane sugar and vanilla.
The finish is gourmand, on coconut sorbet with nutmeg and lime zest.
