Colonel EH Taylor Small Batch is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey distilled at Buffalo Trace. This distillery is the oldest American unit still in operation. It is precisely this famous colonel who allowed it to last so long, thanks to a number of modernizations carried out during its purchase in 1870.
This blend comes from a small batch, which is relative in the world of bourbon, since a good hundred barrels were necessary. Note that it is the most important toasting that is applied to the barrels of this brand, the level 4 toasting, called “alligator”.
