This Navy Rum was bottled full proof by the Belgian company Corman Collins, i.e. without any reduction between distillation and bottling.
Rum was the favorite drink of Royal Navy soldiers. Indeed, until July 31, 1970, every sailor was entitled to a daily ration of 50 cl. rum!
