Cristóbal Niña is a blend of molasses rums from the Dominican Republic. It consists of rums aged 8 to 12 years in a tropical climate in old Bourbon barrels.
Niña is the nickname of the caravel Santa Clara that followed Christopher Columbus on his expeditions. Due to lack of means and without much need for the continuation of his adventures, he sold the ship in 1499.
