Laurent's tasting notes
Damoiseau 8 ans is golden with coppery highlights.
On the nose, several influences meet and complement each other. Sweet spices, nuts, but above all: cooked caramel. In addition, the overall impression is one of gourmandise, with a hint of vanilla.
On the palate, the attack is rather supple and we realize that we're on a pure cane juice - on the nose it wasn't obvious. The cooked caramel comes back again.
The finish is long and largely dominated by baked caramel. This taste will remain on your palate for a long time.
