With its 16-year-old Private Casks Brut de Fût, Distillerie Bonne-Mère unveils a rare vintage that testifies to its expertise in crafting great traditional aged rums . Founded in 1863, the Guadeloupean distillery perpetuates a historical heritage by showcasing its distillation methods and its cellars steeped in history.
Made from molasses and distilled in a traditional Creole column still , this rum has benefited from 16 years of aging in a tropical climate, in American oak barrels. It is a blend of three casks carefully selected by the distillery for their individual qualities.
Bottled without dilution, at its natural strength of 58.3% ABV, this cask strength whisky retains all the intensity acquired during its long maturation. Each bottle is numbered, and this edition is limited to 797 bottles.
