Its color is between amber and gold.
The nose opens with spices and pepper. Pastry and cigar box aromas follow. The whole is both fine and intense. Finally, fruit, with orange and prune standing out.
On the palate, wood and spice dominate, but the wine is not overly dry or tannic, and is harmonious and well-balanced.
The finish is very long, with brown sugar, licorice and a slight minty freshness, and always that warm woodiness. It leaves an impression of roundness and greediness (that recurring pastry taste).
