Nico's tasting notes
The nose immediately juggles between a rustic, almost farmhouse profile and a more sophisticated, woody register. Oxidized apples and pears, mingled with mellow oak tannins, take us towards Calvados, while cane asserts its pepperiness like a precious exotic spice.
With aeration, the spices multiply and become more colorful. A blend of curry and other Indian scents coats a candied cane, whose fruitiness is as full and intense as it is mischievous and tangy.
On the palate, exotic, fragrant wood imposes its fine grain and spices. A handful of dried fruit takes hold of this elegant embroidery, inserting it into the heart of its mellow flesh. In the depths, a limpid, peppery cane juice is enriched by all this, while the fruity freshness of melted tannins is restored.
On the finish, a few crushed red fruits (strawberry, raspberry...) spread across the palate with a creamy character.
"A very fruity and colorful agricultural ride..."
