Don Q Sherry Cask Finish is a molasses rum distilled in columns on the island of Puerto Rico. The Serralés distillery is an example of its kind, as its fairly light rums are tasty and interesting, without sugar or other additives.
The rums making up this blend were distilled in October 2009 and July 2012. They were first aged in American oak barrels until November 2017. They were then blended and placed in ex-oloroso sherry casks for a further year and a half. Final blending and bottling took place in March 2019.
