This rum was distilled at Diamond Distillers Ltd in Guyana in 2000. This distillery has different types of stills, some of which come from old distilleries.
The "Last Casks" cuvée is a molasses rum distilled in a Coffey column. This rum was aged for a year before being transferred to casks from the Uitvlugt distillery (closed in 2000).
The last barrels of this batch were bottled after 22 years of tropical ageing.
