Flamant Rhum is the first rum to be produced entirely in mainland France, and more specifically in Provence.
This rum is the result of a collaboration between Kévin Toussaint, a horticulturist from the Var region, and Guillaume Ferroni, the "wizard" behind Maison Ferroni. The latter is based in Aubagne, near Marseille.
Made from an ancient local variety of sugar cane grown and harvested by hand in the Var, this rum is distilled in a 19th-century wood-fired still.
This is the second batch from the 2022 harvest, produced in 258 numbered units.
