Flor de Cana rums are column distilled and then aged at the foot of the San Cristóbal volcano.
From this geographical location was born the Flor de Cana Volcanic Bourbon Cask cuvée. The aging process took place entirely in ex-bourbon American oak barrels at the foot of the volcano, which has been active since 1890.
