This Grosperrin N°90 Bois Ordinaires is a very rare cognac which comes from the Île d'Oléron. It takes its source from a very small property located in Saint-Pierre-d'Oléron, whose operator is now retired.
This large French island is nicknamed "Oléron la lumineuse" due to its high level of sunshine all year round. The sandy terroir of Bois Ordinaires benefits from the influence of the Gulf Stream, a warm marine surface current on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. It is on this island that this cognac has been aged for many years in a very humid cellar.
Bottled in November 2020 by Grosperrin, the cognac has undergone no special treatment or additives.
