This tasting set offers three variations of the same rum in order to experience the influence of finishes on the final aromatic profile.
To do this, HSE selected three casks, each of which had contained a wine made from one of the grape varieties used in the production of the wines of Château du Marquis de Terme: Cabernet Sauvignon , Merlot and Petit Verdot .
It is in each of these casks that an extra-old rum of 7 years benefited from a maturation of more than 12 months , giving birth to the three expressions offered in this set.
An exercise that is as fun as it is delicious for enthusiasts wishing to refine their palate and deepen their understanding of the influences of aging.
