HSE Confrérie du Rhum 2007 Brut de barrel French oak 47.6°: Description and customer reviews

In 2023, the facebook group "La Confrérie du Rhum" celebrates its 10th anniversary. To mark this occasion, as well as the 70th birthday of Jerry Gitany, one of the group's founders, HSE rums and the Confrérie have decided to team up to offer a unique new cuvee.

The cuvée specially selected for this double tribute is an AOC Martinique agricultural rum from the 2007 vintage. It was produced in a column still by the Simon distillery.
Aging began in December 2007 in the cellars of the habitation Saint-Etienne. For the occasion, a barrel with a special toast was selected. This toast is called "Brume Cuivrée". Rather long and intense, it was created by the Quintessence cooperage.

The single French oak barrel bears the number FRA2103-1. With a capacity of 400 liters, it was emptied in November 2022 to produce 600 numbered bottles.
Bottling was carried out without any addition or filtration.
