Isautier Café Vanille bourbon pointu is a liqueur made with molasses rum from Reunion Island.
This original arrangé is a blend of macerated Reunion's finest coffee, bourbon pointu, and bourbon vanilla. Bourbon pointu is an endemic variety obtained from a spontaneous mutation of the Arabian coffee tree, called the laurina mutation.

Nico's tasting notes
The nose reveals a sweet liqueur scented with cane sugar and coffee. The latter retains an appreciable balance, made possible in part by a vanilla-like roundness that generously coats the whole. With a little air, the coffee takes on its own character, but keeps its more roasted side under control, making for a pleasant, gourmet experience.
On the palate, the roundness takes hold of the palate, confecting it with melted cane sugar. The vanilla slowly caresses the taste buds, before the coffee begins to diffuse quietly. Once again, the coffee is perfectly reasonable, gently impregnating the palate with its roasted flavors.
