Thisorange and coffee shrubb from Reimonenq is made with "house" white rum in which orange peel and coffee beans have been macerated. A carefully measured amount of cane syrup is also added. All ingredients are 100% natural.
ReimonenQ Shrob Intense Orange Café can be drunk as a digestif, for a "coretto" coffee as the Italians say (a dash of this shrob is added to the coffee), or accompanied by Schweppes and ice cubes (1 part shrob to 2 parts Schweppes).
Nico's tasting notes
The nose is fresh at first, with a freshly squeezed orange in a fairly light rum. Some of the bitterness of the peel also comes through in the glass, for a clear, natural impression.
The palate is soft, round, yet fluid. Orange is the star of the show, represented by both juice and peel. It is underscored by a hint of coffee that closes the ranks and reveals itself in the long finish.
