JM 50° white rum is distilled from the juice of sugar cane that grows at the foot of Mount Pelée. Drawing its aromas from the tropical lands of Martinique and traditional distillation methods, it is ideal for the preparation of tropical cocktails and the essential ti-punch .
This white agricultural rum was awarded the Jury Prize at the 2012 Ultimate Spirit Challenge. It also won a gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirit Competition the same year.
Laurent's tasting notes
Its color is translucent.
On the nose, cane juice naturally dominates, but an interesting earthiness is also present. Slight citrus notes complete the aromatic profile.
On the palate, the alcohol is present but not excessive. The attack is marked by a slight sweetness, and the cane is once again present, while the pepper almost dominates.
The finish is marked by pepper, while the earthiness returns. It's dry and getting drier by the minute.
