Lagavulin 16 ans is a peaty (35 ppm) single malt Scotch whisky from the Isle of Islay.
Since 1987, it has been one of the 11 whiskies in the "Classic Malts of Scotland" selection. This selection, created by Diageo, represents all the quality and diversity of Scotch produced in the different regions of Scotland.
Aged for 16 years in bourbon casks, this whisky was finished for a few weeks in sherry casks.
