In brief: sweet - vanilla - caramel
On the nose, the rum is a concentrate of sweet fruit, like very ripe melon with vanilla accents. Its bubble-gum character gives it an air of confectionery, then it becomes more pastry-like, again with vanilla and aromas of caramel custard.
The palate is quite powerful, spicy and sweet, the salted butter caramel greedy and vanilla.

I discovered frosted rums with this bottle at Christmas, 3 years ago. Since then, it's been my favorite and I regularly recommend it for myself, but also as a gift for family and friends: they all love it! It's a rum that becomes syrupy when it comes out of the freezer, so the scent of caramel and salted butter is all the more intense. It's icy/creamy in the glass, but melts like candy in the mouth. A real rum delight at a tiny price!
