Long Pond VRW 2003 60°: Description and customer reviews

Long Pond VRW 2003 is a molasses rum from Jamaica, and more specifically from the parish of Trelawny.
This aged rum is an official bottling of the Long Pond distillery. For many years, the distillery sold its rums without bottling them itself.

Distilled in John Dore pot-stills, this rum bears the VRW mark (Vale Royale Wedderburn). This means it's a rather light rum to start with (150-250 g/hlap in esters).
Having spent 18 years in American oak casks, this rum is a collector's item. It has been bottled in 320 copies, and only 30 are available for the French market. We had one that we chose to offer as a sample, so that as many people as possible could taste it...
