Longueteau sélection parcellaire n°11 is a single-varietal agricultural rum produced by the island's oldest distillery, located at the foot of the Soufrière volcano.
Organically farmed since 2017, plot no. 11 is the estate's smallest (0.56 hectares). It benefits from constant sunshine, enabling the red cane to gain in aromatic strength. Its small size means it can be worked by hand, from covering with bagasse and vinasse to manual weeding. Only harvesting is mechanized.
This rum was distilled in a Savalle column in June 2020 to deliver a total of 3,000 bottles in November 2021. This cuvée benefited from 12 months of rest and slow reduction in stainless steel tanks.
