Maracudja Supreme is made with the same recipe as the essential Maracudja Punch . The variation that changes the result a lot is a base of 100% red cane white rum at 70° which allows you to strongly concentrate the fruits and obtain a higher degree of punch!
You can drink it chilled, or as a cocktail. Try the "Suprême MaraTonic", for example:
- 6cl Longueteau Maracudja Supreme
- 10cl tonic
- Lime
- Ice cubes
Nico's tasting notes
The nose is a bouquet of fruity and eminently tropical freshness, supported by a very clean rhum agricole, which does not overdo it in order to highlight the maracudja. We detect a slight bitterness coming from the seeds, which we imagine will add subtlety on the palate.
The palate is intensely fruity, suave and tasty. Here is proof that a very ripe and just-picked passion fruit is in no way overflowing with acidity. Rum, sugar and maracudja intertwine in an endless dance that lasts in the mouth, helped in the finish by the seeds of the fruit.
