Tobala is a mezcal joven bottled by Los Siete Misterios. It is produced in Sola de Vega in Mexico's Oaxaca region by mezcalero Don Lorenzo Amador.
It is produced from a single variety of agave called maguey "Tobala". It belongs to the Potatorum agave family.
The agave hearts are fired in traditional ovens, then crushed by hand before undergoing double distillation in clay stills.
