As with the 7-Year-Old, Billy Walker is behind MacNair's Panama 15-Year-Old. He is the current Master Blender at Scotland's GlenAllachie distillery.
Unearthed in the Panamanian tropics, this rum began its ageing process in ex-bourbon American oak casks. Once transferred to Speyside, it underwent a second maturation in red wine casks, new casks and old bourbon barrels.
The color of this molasses rum is natural. What's more, it is not cold-filtered before bottling.
