Malteco seleccion 1987 is a rum from Panama, produced "Al Estilo de Guatemala". This particular style, based on cane honey, was developed by Guatemalan maestros roneros. Distilled in columns in 1987, it aged for 28 years in bourbon barrels, before being bottled in 2015.
It has won numerous awards, including the gold medal for honey cane rums aged 7 years and over at RhumFest Paris 2016. It is presented here in a small 20cl bottle, so you can discover it at an affordable price.
