Malteco seleccion 1993 is an old vintage rum distilled in Panama in 1993. Guatemalan in style, it is made not from pure cane juice or molasses, but from cane honey. This sugarcane syrup was column-distilled, then placed in ex-bourbon American oak barrels for 25 years.
It was bottled in 2018, and comes in a superb wooden box, dressed in leather.
