In brief: cinnamon - orange - fresh
The nose immediately develops impressive notes of cinnamon, but also equally striking citrus. This brings to mind a Moroccan-style storm salad, with a light twist of cardamom and squeezed orange juice. There's also a hint of red fruit, and the spices are fresh, not pastry-like. The whole thing is well done, the alcohol is virtually absent, and the profile is really fun.
On the palate, after a fresh, lemony attack, orange mingles again with cinnamon, and it's still going strong. A pinch of cardamom and a squirt of lemon juice round off the finish.
At the very end, Christmas spices linger for a while on the taste buds.
