Dzama arrangé orange bark cinnamon is an arranged rum from Madagascar. The Indian Ocean is one of the hotspots of the rhum arrangé tradition. Mostly based on molasses rums, these arrangés are very round and gourmet.
This combination of spices and orange is a bridge to the West Indies, reminiscent of the famous traditional shrubb.
Nico's tasting notes
On the nose, powerful scents of Christmas spices immediately take over. Cinnamon is unmistakably present, and you can even smell its powdery quality as if you were dipping your nose into the jar of ground spice. Orange peel is also present, candied and lightly dried, even calling forth a whole host of other spices.
On the palate, powdery cinnamon is always present. It even clings to the tongue and seems almost woody. Orange peel regains its freshness and delivers its fruity notes, as in a gingerbread pastry ready for the oven.
The finish is long, sustained by orange peel and pretty bitterness.
"A gourmet gingerbread-style arrangé prepared with natural ingredients..."
