Mezan Guyana 2011 is an 11-year-old rum made from sugarcane molasses. It was distilled in 2011 by the Diamond distillery, located on the banks of the Demerara River in English Guyana.
It was distilled in a modern 4-column Savalle still of French origin. The rum was then aged on site for 3 years, then transferred to Europe to benefit from a further 8 years in ex-American bourbon casks.
This Guyanese rum was bottled in 2022 by independent English bottler Mezan, without cold filtration or additives.
