M&G Punch Maracuja comes to us from the Tarrafal de Monte Trigo region, on the island of Santo Antão, Cape Verde. It is made on a base of grogue, the island's particularly natural and wild cane brandy.
The maracuja, or passion fruit, is also a Cape Verdean must. Its pulp and juice are extracted to concoct this traditional punch, an integral part of local culture.
