Yoann's tasting notes
The nose of this old rum plunges us directly into a woody, slightly humid register, with fine and elegant notes. A caramel sprinkled with peppercorns makes its way to the nose then, little by little, the nuts take over: they are roasted and seem to rub shoulders with dried prunes.
The palate takes the same direction with an assortment of roasted dried fruits. A toasted coconut enriches our palate with its presence and comes to coat it with fluidity. The spices are timid, the woodiness is elegant and a hazelnut butter leaves a very slightly greasy impression.
The finish is rather long, with nuts and a rich and delicious vanilla.
