The 2015 vintage follows the 2013 vintage for this New Grove Savoir Faire Whisky Islay Finish cuvée.
This rum is produced by the Grays distillery on Mauritius from local molasses.
Just like the previous edition, this expression benefits from a double maturation. The first maturation is carried out in French oak barrels. This is followed by a second aging in former peated Scotch whisky casks from the Isle of Islay. This second, shorter stage (approximately 12 months) takes the form of a finish.
This batch was finally bottled in 950 copies without chill filtration, nor the addition of sugar or coloring.
