Oban Distillers Edition is a single malt Scotch whisky from the West Highlands. Its marine character is enhanced by a double maturation, first in bourbon casks, then in dry sherry casks (Fino Montilla).
This "Distillers Edition" single malt whisky no longer has a vintage displayed on the bottle or case. This is a conscious choice on the part of the distillery. Nevertheless, the master distillers' job is to choose the best casks to preserve the aromatic palette of this iconic series.
