Matugga Spiced Rum is made from sugarcane molasses grown in the rich red soils of East Africa. Matugga Spiced Rum is distilled and processed in Scotland, then aged in English oak casks.
The composition of this rum is based on a harmonious blend of fragrant spices, sweet tea tannins and fresh ginger.
Matugga Spiced Rum can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or as an excellent cocktail base.

Its color is golden.
The nose is full of spices. They are combined in such a way that none takes over. Rum also makes itself felt. Ginger and citrus come to the fore, but other spices take over: juniper and pepper.
On the palate, the attack is gentle. Spices arrive very quickly behind the sugar: citrus fruits (orange and clementine), then pepper.
The finish is very long, reminiscent of the spices used in German Christmas cookies. This is the blend that will stay with you for many minutes.
