Papillon Brun Freespirit is a wood-aged agricultural rum, 100% produced by the Longueteau distillery in Guadeloupe.
Sugar cane is grown by François Longueteau on the island's various terroirs. The fermented vesou is distilled in a Creole column, then matured in American bourbon oak barrels to deliver a gourmet profile.
Created in 2020, the Papillon brand benefits from the historic know-how of the family business, founded in 1895 by Henri Longueteau on the Domaine du Marquisat de Sainte-Marie. It is the oldest distillery still in operation in Guadeloupe.
