Planteray Rum 2013 Mauritius is none other than the 5th edition of the TERRAVERA series. This is a rum from the 2013 vintage.
This vintage comes from distillation in a molasses column still. It has benefited from a 48-hour fermentation. As for the aging, we are faced with a double aging emblematic of Planteray/Plantation rums.
The rum was aged for 9 years in Mauritius in bourbon barrels before arriving in the South West of France. It was aged for two additional years in Ferrand cognac barrels.
No fewer than 19 barrels were assembled for bottling in 2024.
