Rebellion Spiced Rum is a blend of Caribbean rums (notably from Trinidad & Tobago), in which spices such as cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg and vanilla have been macerated.
It can be drunk over ice or in cocktails (to make a Dark & Stormy, for example).
Nico's tasting notes
In brief: spices - orange zest - bubble-gum - very sweet - fruity
The nose is fresh and fragrant, carried by a festive, wintry blend of gingerbread and orange peel. Cinnamon and nutmeg are bathed in vanilla sweetness, followed by bubble-gum strawberry. There's no hint of alcohol, and the whole is very smooth indeed. The liqueur-like orange gets brighter and brighter, sprinkled with coffee and cinnamon. The nose is as easy as ever, like a sweet banana syrup or tutti-frutti candy.
On the palate, the vanilla is thick, sweet and fragrant with multiple spices: cinnamon, pepper, cloves, nutmeg... The syrup spreads gently over the taste buds, recalling banana, red fruit and even strawberry bubble-gum.
The finish will leave you with the memory of a fruity sweet-spiced bonbon.
"This very smooth, gourmet rum will give a fun, tangy twist to your cocktails..."
